DevOps Team Lead
- Lead and mentor the DevOps team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Oversee team performance, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high productivity and professional growth.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for DevOps initiatives, setting clear goals and milestones.
- Implement Kubernetes best practices and tools used for deployment, auto-scaling, disaster recovery, and zero downtime.
- Architecting solutions for performance, scalability, security, high availability, and cost management.
- Improving existing DevOps tools and pipelines to enhance productivity and reliability.
- Deploy monitoring tools and security integrations within our infrastructure.
- Deploy and manage container-based applications on multiple cloud platforms
- Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems for containers.
- Build scalable, highly available, and self-healing systems.
- Integrate monitoring tools and security features.
What You’ll Need for This Position:
- 8+ years of experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Strong background in coding and experience with converting existing code to run within a Kubernetes cluster.
- Proficiency in setting up monitoring, error handling, and debugging functionalities within Kubernetes clusters.
- Proven experience in an Operations/DevOps role.
- Expertise in designing and managing distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud services like EC2, ECS, VPC, ELB, S3, CloudFormation/Terraform, Lambda, IAM, and databases (DynamoDB, RDS).
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes best practices.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with customers in a support and maintenance capacity is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (CKA, CKAD) are a plus.
