Head of Sales

Tysons Corner, VA or Remote anywhere in the United States

As Head of Sales, you are a member of the senior leadership team and responsible for all facets of sales organizational performance. In this role you will consistently attain targeted growth revenue goals and set the vision and strategy for the sales team. In order to accomplish these goals, you will develop specific territory plans to ensure growth in all revenue streams, and formulate objectives, performance standards, and priorities for the Sales team and ensure that selling models facilitate market penetration and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee revenue generation, forecasting and maximization
  • Develop and ensure a culture of high performance, consistency and accountability
  • Attract, retain, lead, and motivate a group of highly sales professionals
  • Provide accurate forecasts back to the business
  • Collaborate with your colleagues in marketing, customer experience, finance, operations, product and engineering to grow our business the right way

Key Attributes for Success

  • You have the ability to create and execute the strategic plan for sales
  • You have experience improving, optimizing and executing sales processes
  • You are able to demonstrate expertise in sales performance analysis, coaching, development, and management
  • You’re a critical thinker who investigates the sales pipeline and provides metrics for deal collaboration and forecasting
  • You have a positive attitude, technical aptitude and the ability to execute (and improve on) our processes

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience leading a SaaS sales team of 7-10+ selling software products with Annual Contract Value of $50,000 – $250,000 +
    7+ years’ of experience in a fast-growing business-to-business SaaS environment
  • Experience in the business intelligence, analytics and/or cloud infrastructure spaces is a plus
