Senior Developer Advocate

Tysons Corner, VA or Remote anywhere in the United States

Qrvey is looking for an experienced Senior Developer Advocate to own, maintain and develop Qrvey’s self-service Partner Portal website, as well as grow and continue to nurture Qrvey’s rapidly expanding developer community. Our ideal candidate is a person who is passionate about being an advocate for software developers trying to learn a comprehensive new platform and should be proficient with data and analytics. The candidate’s responsibilities will include creating new technical documentation, designing new samples and proof-of-concept apps, organizing and documenting Qrvey’s extensive set of developer API libraries, as well as owning and maintaining Qrvey’s developer self-service resource website. The ideal candidate becomes an invaluable member of Qrvey’s Customer Success team, and a vocal advocate for knowledge development and information exchange.

Responsibilities

  • Create new technical documentation for Qrvey platform features and capabilities, as well as update and maintain existing documentation
  • Design meaningful sample apps and code snippets that illustrate usage and implementation of specific features and platform capabilities
  • Design and author comprehensive guides around platform integration capabilities, multi-tenancy security requirements and self-service analytics use cases
  • Maintain, organize and incrementally improve upon Qrvey’s Partner Portal developer self-service website
  • Document and organize Qrvey’s various API developer libraries
  • Define and own a set of metrics that inform Qrvey’s leadership about which self-service resources are most impactful
  • Be a vocal leader within Qrvey’s Customer Success team; help develop the Voice of the Customer program
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and new services added to the AWS cloud ecosystem

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience writing technical documentation and developing self-service resources for software developers
  • Proficiency with at least one BI tool building out data analytics, data visualizations and interactive dashboards
  • Experience with SQL and at least one of the following RDBMS systems (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle)
  • Experience with at least one modern front-end web development library such as Angular, React or Vue
  • Experience with at least one modern back-end server framework technology such as Java, ASP.NET, PHP or NodeJS
  • Experience designing and interacting with REST APIs
  • Experience utilizing different types of data file formats to facilitate data interchange (CSV, JSON, NDJSON or Parquet)
  • Experience with common AWS developer oriented services such as S3, Lambda and CloudWatch is a plus
  • Familiarity with AWS AI/ML oriented services and design paradigms is a big plus
  • Knowledge of Markdown or HTML
  • Knowledge of Git or Git-based version control systems
  • Knowledge of Docusaurus, or other documentation site builder tool is a big plus
  • Image and basic video editing capabilities are desirable
