Impexium’s Challenges

Impexium had two goals when they first began working with Qrvey.


First, they needed to replace their legacy analytics with a modern analytics platform that could do more than just build charts and reports. Impexium needed features such as responsive design, automation, easy embeddability and most of all, self-service capabilities so that customers could perform their own data analysis. Without self-service capabilities, Impexium was forced to build all of the charts, reports, dashboards and metrics their customers needed by themselves, which was quickly becoming a daunting task.


Second, Impexium wished to enhance their AMS platform by integrating human-collected feedback in the form of surveys and quizzes. Using automation to integrate feedback meant event attendees could instantly provide their comments on the sessions they were attending, while association members could use quizzes to test their skills and gain certifications.

Using AWS, Qrvey was able to harness the power of Elasticsearch, DynamoDB and a host of microservices to deploy a powerful, flexible and scalable solution. Plus, Qrvey’s pricing and licensing model was perfectly aligned with Impexium’s, meaning it will be easy to add both new customers and new analytic applications to their platform.

Qrvey was also the logical choice for data collection, as web forms, including surveys and quizzes, were already part of the platform. Human collected data could quickly and easily augment existing member and event data providing a complete picture for analysis. Because Qrvey accepts all types of data, Impexium’s clients could even merge their own data with the webform data.
